Since 1979, Amekor Industries, based in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, has been a manufacturer and distributor of wigs, extensions and hairpieces for women. The name, Amekor, is a neologism, combining the words American and Korean to represent the partnership between the original company organizers. It was founded upon the principles of quality and style.

In 2008, a dedicated team with 30 years of experience in manufacturing and distribution, and hair industry experts worked with Vivica A. Fox to build a foundation to launch a new brand, Vivica A. Fox Hair Collection. They highly admired her talent and beauty, and they began the venture together. Vivica A. Fox is building a wigs, extensions, and related products. From top-to-bottom, the team worked to develop a catalog of products and looks that are fitting of Vivica¡¯s superstar style. Amekor Industries, a company with over 30 years of experience manufacturing and distributing innovative, stylish, and high quality wigs and extensions, and Vivica are changing the game.
