The Major hair brush with soft bristles is a high quality brush made with all natural materials and designed for men with thin hair.

With 127 plugs of second cut boar bristles (softer bristles) this brush will safely get through hair and it can also be used for beards.

Carved from a single block of pear wood.

Our brushes aren't lacquered. We oil them to reduce static from brushing but also for the unique natural touch.

We've selected a great wood from a sustainable forrest.

Pear wood has a special texture, smooth on almost all sides. We wanted a wood that would keep the natural touch and texture in hand.

To further keep with that, we oil the brushed rather than other treatment. You'll notice the difference in your hand.

The brush handle is carved from a single block of wood. It is then sanded and the holes are drilled for the plugs of boar bristles.

The second cut bristles means these are the softer parts of the boar bristles.

Boar bristles are the strongest natural bristle available. For hundreds of years they have been known as the best material for hair brushes.

Because of the uneven cut of the bristles they can penetrate the hair to reach through to the scalp.

This process not only straightens out and styles your hair, it also acts as a natural exfoliation of the scalp that helps reduce, dandruff and other symptoms.

When the wood arrives it is cut into blocks of pear wood that can be used to carve out the brushes. The wood is grown in Austria and in the black forest and each tree is replaced in sustainable forests.

The boar bristles arrive in bundles and are then carefully selected by hand to be inserted into the brush. Bristles in a beard brush must be irregular to penetrate through the beard and reach the skin.

Each brush is individually checked for any loose or stray bristles. The stray bristles are cut individually after which the brushes are packed and shipped.
