What color Top Coat should I use?

Blue: tone orange/brassy tones in brunette to dark blondes. Purple: tone yellow/brassy tones in medium-light blondes. Gold: revive sunny blondes, Red: revive red tones, Copper: revive copper/copper-red tones.

Can I use Top Coat on non color-treated hair?

Yes, you can use Top Coat + Clear on non-color treated hair. The Top Coat will act as a gloss to enhance your hair¡¯s natural shine. However, we do not recommend using Top Coat + Tone Blue, Purple, Gold, Red, or Copper on non-color treated hair.

How long will Top Coat last?

6-8 washes.

How do you use Top Coat?

After shampooing, remove excess water from the hair. Apply from root to tip (We recommend wearing gloves during application of red, gold or copper tones). Comb through for even distribution. Sit for 5 minutes, then rinse. Conditioner is optional.

How often can I use Top Coat?

Use about 3 weeks after your color service when it begins to oxidize and you notice brassiness, or to revive warmer tones. You can use Top Coat every 6-8 shampoos, but we don¡¯t suggest using prior to this to prevent over-deposit of the color.
