Using harsh body washes and soaps can make your skin worse because most soaps are far too strong for skin. They strip away everything ? vital oils and nutrients ? leaving skin dry, and defenseless. The thin layer on top of your skin ? called the acid mantle ? is vital to skin health, and is it¡¯s first line of defense against the environment. Common body washes remove your acid mantle because they are too acidic.

We solved this by lowering the pH of our body wash to 5.5. which is closer to what skin is naturally.

What sets us apart from other natural companies, is what we use as the base for our products (the first ingredient of a product ? which makes up the largest percentage). Almost everyone uses water. Pick up your shampoo and look at the first ingredient ? chances are it says water/aqueous. We use aloe vera instead of water ? a far better solution. Although inexpensive, water can dry your skin and hair out.

Your skin is the largest organ in your body. It is slightly acidic naturally, about pH 5.5. This creates a natural barrier and a first line of defense against the environment. Every time you use harsh soap or shampoo, you strip away your body¡¯s natural defense. All our products are perfectly pH balanced at 5.5 to support your skin's natural barrier function.

Manuka honey is found only in New Zealand. It has potent properties and is a powerful moisturizer packed with a unique blend of vitamins and minerals that seal in moisture to soothe dry, damaged. Scientists are still studying this amazing honey, to figure out what makes it so special. So far, they've discovered that it has the highest amount of methylglyoxal of any honey.
